Working together against falls
Quality of care and better ageing are at the heart of Mintts values and the fall detection and prevention system we developed. Our technology offers many tools to improve the quality of life of our seniors and provide them with greater autonomy.
Our solution
Fall detection
Our technology alerts the medical staff in real time when a fall occurs
Our innovative fall detection system is highly efficient. It adjusts to the room layout and detects all categories of falls. As soon as a fall is identified, a notification is instantly generated and automatically transmitted to medical personnel. Thanks to this real-time alert, it is possible to intervene more promptly, appropriately and efficiently, reducing the time the person is on the ground.
Bed exit detection
Fall prevention for a greater sense of independence
Increasing the quality of care also means enhancing the quality of life of people at risk of falling, improving working conditions for care teams and reassuring families about the safety of their loved ones.
Getting out of bed can entail serious risks of falling. Even if some patients are unable to get out of bed on their own, they may still venture to do so. Our motion-tracking algorithms detect the risk of a fall occurring in their field of vision and alert medical staff in real time, so they can react quickly to prevent a fall.

Absence detection

Out of sight but kept in mind
Another preventive measure provided by our solution is the "absence detection" function. As soon as the resident leaves the sensor's field of vision, a timer is activated. If the absence lasts longer than the set time, an alarm is sent to the nursing staff as a preventive measure.
Absence detection enables you to generate an alert, over a defined period and after a specific duration, when a patient/resident has left the sensor's field of vision. This function enables you to detect falls or the need for assistance in areas not covered by the sensor, such as the bathroom, as well as untimely exits from the room.
Close follow-up
Removal of doubts thanks to real-time visualisation
When a caregiver notifies the dashboard of ongoing activity in a room, such as wandering or agitation in bed, he or she has the option of activating the "lift of doubt" function instead of physically moving.
This preventive measure enables the caregiver to check in real time whether the resident or patient needs assistance, while preserving his or her anonymity and privacy. This approach contributes to more efficient management of nursing time, by avoiding disturbing the resident or patient unless really necessary.

Activity monitoring

Our kiosk is accessible via any screen
Our Kiosk offers many options while being very simple to use. The Kiosk allows you to see in real time the activity of all the rooms equipped with our solution. For example, you can see a person moving around or being agitated in bed. The kiosk will also show you in real time in which room a fall, an exit from bed, or an absence has been detected.
Some features can be configured according to your care habits and allow for the immediate prevention of risky situations. Access to this dashboard is protected by a code, so that only authorised persons can access it. We train and support the care teams in the use of the system for the best possible experience.
Fall analysis & Fall register
A better understanding of the circumstances around the fall
Usually, around 2/3 of falls are neither reported nor fully documented. That's why Mintt offers analysis tools to fill this gap, while guaranteeing data integrity.
After the incident and once the patient has been managed, the focus is on preventing future falls. The sequences generated by our artificial intelligence system can be reviewed by healthcare professionals to better understand the circumstances of the incident. This enables a precise link to be established between the incident and the patient's state of health, allowing treatment plans to be personalized and reducing the risk of falls recurring.

An effective analysis tool
The availability of a comprehensive, illustrated falls register is essential to accurately identify the recurring causes of falls, and to raise awareness among care teams with a view to improving their practices.
That's why our falls detection solution generates a detailed report including all detected falls, as well as images taken before and after each incident. This approach enables the care team to better organize treatment and adapt patient management.
By automating the updating of the falls register, our solution provides precise statistical analysis, recording data such as the number of falls, their frequency, intervention times and consequences. This information can be used to assess the effectiveness of measures taken to improve patients' quality of life.
